There is a gentleman behind the scenes by the name of Richard Hopkins, who came forth on video stating his supervisor asked them to back date mail-in ballots out of Michigan. As this story developed, it took a rather dark turn. It appears Hopkins is now being threatened and lied about under an orchestrated smear campaign.
In this particular video recording of the federal agents, they appear to have coerced Hopkins through a 4 hour interrogation without representation. Hopkins continues to stand by his original affidavit regarding the backdating of ballots. Take a look:
Agent Strasser: “And so let me, let me make good on that promise right away. Okay. This storm is getting crazy, right? It’s out of a lot of people’s control. And so the reason they called me in is to try to harness that storm, try to reel it back in before it gets really crazy. Because we have senators involved. We have the Department of Justice involved. We have Trump’s lawyer’s team’s gotten ahold of me.
I am not – I am actually. I am trying to twist you a little bit because in that, believe it or not, your mind will kick in. We like to control our mind. And when we do that, we can convince ourselves of a memory. But when you’re under a little bit of stress, which is what I’m doing to you purposely, your mind can be a little bit clearer and we’re going to do a different exercise too, to make your mind a little bit clearer. So, but this is all on purpose.
I am not scaring you. But I am scaring you.
Richard Hopkins: It seems like they were trying to make me distrust y’all (Project Veritas). And at the same time, it, kind of affected… But at the same time I was like, no, these guys (Project Veritas) have had by back since the get go. So that’s why I continued.
After much of this played out, many in the mainstream media including the Washington Post began a smear campaign with a story stating Hopkins “recanted” his affidavit. He did not, in fact, recant it.
“I’m reading an article written by the Washington Post. It says I fabricated the allegations of ballot tampering. I’m here to say I did not recant my statements. That did not happen.”
This sort of intimidation should frighten every American. If federal agents and the media are working together to silence and smear Richard Hopkins, they certainly have it in their power to do the same to you.
