Failure is one lesson you will not learn in schools. In fact, it is a subject completely avoided by most teachers in either academia or even at home. The biggest problem with disregarding failure as a lesson is that every successful person will one day have to face it – and when they do, they need to be prepared.
Failure can cripple a good man and destroy a potentially great man. Over the many years I’ve attempted to start businesses, many of my ideas have resulted in failures. Most of those failures were a result of my own shortcomings and narrow sighted perspective on what I was doing. But that’s just the thing, I wouldn’t have learned about my shortcomings if I hadn’t experienced them and moved on.
Moving on from failure is what this video is all about. Not only moving on, but embracing both the importance and significance of failure in your life. Failure, in this essence, is not only good – but absolutely necessary for success.
