I’ve gotten requests from indivdiuals to have a discussion or chat with me. Recently I added the chat room to The PCMichiana Tech Help Show website but have found it shunned as “old technology”. Recently, I have been spending an abnormal amount of time on Twitter. Although I will not be available very much this weekend (as I will be unavailable for business) – I have found that Twitter acts as a smarter chat room than the older model.
In particular, if you use a great Twitter application such as CoTweet – the structure of twitter doesn’t become so Chaotic and insane. Really what you are doing, is finding people (or other members of the largest chat room in the world) that have the same interests as you by searching. Following what they say and carrying on discussions with them. It really is so simplistic that most people overcomplicate it.
TWITTER IS NOT COMPLICATED! DO NOT OVERCOMPLICATE IT! AHHHH!!
1. Find Your Twitter Tool’s Search Function
2. Search for Topics that Interest You
3. Follow Other Tweeters with Interesting Things to Say
4. When they Say Something Interesting, Reply or Retweet it!
That’s it! Now get tweeting, and retweet this! Or don’t… that’s cool…
