The 2020 contested election which is “far from over” continues forward with recounts and litigation. Many Trump supporters are hopeful the claims made by the Trump legal team can be backed with evidence and play out in court. The state of Georgia was requested to do a hand recount and it appears 3 counties have “discovered” votes for Donald Trump.
The third county to discover votes appears to be in Walton County. The issue appears to be similar to what occurred in Fayette County Georgia, they forgot to upload a memory card with votes on it. This particular instances nets Donald Trump 176 votes. This is still pretty far away from the 12,753 he still needs to close the gap on. This might not be the only memory card they missed, here is a statement:
“We’re still trying to see if that was a batch that might have been missed, or there’s actually memory cards that we—I don’t have a final answer on that,” he added.Third Georgia County Finds Memory Card With Uncounted Votes (Source)
Here is a statement from David Shafer, who is in charge of the Georgia recount:
One is left wondering why all of these errors seem to favor the Democratic party. As the recounts and litigations unravel, the recounting and auditing process can only help Americans by creating more transparency in the election process.
