Today’s video will show you how to create and format the shared partition we created in the previous episode, then copy over shared files. This is an extra step many of you may not have been expecting, but it is a highly recommended one. Creating a separate partition for all of your files that will be shared between your operating systems such as audio, videos and downloads will not only save you disk space (and the headache of redownloading and retrieving information) – but it will also protect your data from possible operating system corruptions that may occur in one of your two operating systems. In the next episode, stay tuned, because we will actually configure our systems to boot on our new operating system drive so we can begin our new operating system installation.
