In today’s video we will show you how to tweak your windows registry and disable the last access update timestamp in Windows. This particular registry entry creates a timestamp for each folder and subfolder when you access them. As you can imagine, this will cause system resource overhead in Windows – perhaps not a huge amount of overhead – but every little bit of wasted resources we can free up by tweaking the registry will help.
