Can Cortana schedule and manage appointments? Yes, but first make sure you know how to connect Cortana to Outlook and Gmail, otherwise this post will prove useless to you.

We’re all busy these days. In fact, it’s amazing to see just how busy we are given the power of technology at our fingertips. Somehow we’ve managed to turn the technological revolution into a way to cram more activities into a single day rather than learn how to rest. Whatever our reason for keeping busy (for me, it’s to maintain my sanity), Cortana can help us stay organized.

There are many appointments to keep, from doctors appointments to parent teacher conferences. It can be difficult to remember what is when, let alone why. Cortana offers a quick way to drop activities into your calendar – this is probably one of the most powerful features of Cortana if you can learn to master it. To elaborate, learn to master it simply means keep talking to her until you figure out what works best for you.

Cortana has become an extremely powerful voice assistant platform developed by Microsoft. Firstly, in a few short years she has made major improvement in voice recognition and can assist users with a wide range of needs. Secondly, if you haven’t checked it out already, I strongly encourage you to view these 10 Awesome Tricks You Can Do With Cortana for a more comprehensive list of features and functionalities Cortana has to offer.

How Can Cortana Schedule And Manage Appointments?

This one is my personal favorite. Unlike appointments, reminders are great for small tasks that are repeatable or tasks that don’t require an official meeting time or place. If you have a doctor appointment, then you’ll want to utilize Cortana to schedule appointments rather than set reminders. Or perhaps you will use both the Reminders and Appointments aspect of Cortana to make absolutely sure your covered.

Appointments covers actual date and time scheduled appointments you might have. This could be a meeting with a customer, a doctor appointment or perhaps just a coffee with an old friend. No matter the event, scheduling is covered in trick 9 of 10 awesome tricks you can do with Cortana

Simply state, “Schedule an appointment with [person or place] on [date and time].”

For example:

  • Simply state, “Schedule an appointment with [person or place] on [date and time].”
  • “Hey Cortana, schedule a Doctor’s Appointment on August 15th at 9 AM.”
  • Or “Hey Cortana, schedule a meeting at Precision Electric on November 16th at 12 PM”
  • How about “Hey Cortana, schedule a meeting with my wife tomorrow at 10 AM.”

In Conclusion, Can Cortana Schedule And Manage Appointments?

Cortana integrates beautifully with your Outlook calendar and you can even connect your Google Calendar. In fact, Cortana can schedule appointments across most popular calendars available – you need only setup your calendar management through Microsoft Windows 10. Finally, I want to thank you for stopping by and checking out my site.

Are there any unique calendar tricks we should try using with Cortana? Leave them in the comments below because I would love to know!

Have a wonderful day!
