Facebook has been around for almost a decade, and let’s face it, it’s permeated almost every aspect of our lives in one way, shape or form. The tools we use are rarely the problem. Typically, when one looks deeper into technology that causes a problem, nine times out of ten it is because the tool was misused and abused by the very people it aimed to help.
This, I argue, is the primary issue with Facebook. The tool has become to cluttered, overwhelming and the community too under-trained for it to yield the benefits of it. Facebook has done little to nothing to resolve this gaping hole in it’s user base. As a result, they risk the potential for serious long term implosion.
